Manly Card Monday #13

This card stemmed from the idea of using the inkpad to stamp the main focus in the middle.

I stamped my black inkpad directly onto the white card, leaving this rectangle. I thought it had dried so stamped and embossed my fishing line image, but it was still damp and this meant the powder got stuck to the black background. I could have brushed it off  but chose to leave it for a dusty, distressed look.

I wrapped two ribbons around my piece of card and stuck washi tape at the bottom. Then I stamped ‘Happy’ at the side and ‘birthday’ on a separate piece of card, which I trimmed down to fit above the tape.

I’ll be drinking cocktails in Rhodes next week so there’ll be a bit of a break before the next manly card!
